Napier 15HP

United Kingdom 1910

Napier Motor Co. began manufacturing cars in 1900 and delisted in 1925 to transform into an aero engine manufacturer. The total number of cars produced during 25 years was less than 10,000 units. It was named the top four luxury car brands with Rolls-Royce, Lanchester and Wolseley in the UK in the early 20th century. Napier is also the first car manufacturing company to mass-produce a six-cylinder engine in the world. In 1902, with its victory in the Gordon Bennett Cup, Napier became the first British car brand to win the championship of the international auto race.
