Rolls-Royce Phantom III

United Kingdom 1939

The Phantom Ⅲ is the model launched by Rolls-Royce in the autumn of 1935. As always, it maintains a high level of Phantom series. Its various configurations and comfort levels are beyond the reach of Phantom II.

As the most innovative model in Phantom series, it breaks the Rolls-Royce tradition and is equipped with a V12 engine for the first time. This engine has a displacement of 7.34 liters and 180 horsepower. Its power performance is very outstanding, which can maintain good stability at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour. The powerful V12 engine is mainly derived from Rolls-Royce aero engine technology. It is also the phantom of the last generation equipped with this engine before World War II.

Only the chassis and mechanical parts of the Phantom Ⅲ are manufactured by Rolls-Royce. The chassis is also the most advanced and complex model that the company has produced before World War II. The body is customized and installed by the vehicle owner or dealer who selects the couchbuilder. The dashboard is made of walnut wood imported from Italy and the United States, which has been carefully polished and has a shiny surface like a mirror. The seats are made of finest cowhide from Denmark and the UK. The carpet in the car is made of pure wool.
