In 1937, BMW launched the famous short-wheelbase version of the two-seater convertible coupe type 327. In the following year, BMW launched the more powerful two-door sports car, type 328. With its excellent power performance, this model has won the “Le Mans 24 Hours” and “Mille Miglia”. In 1939, BMW installed the 328 engine on the 327 chassis, which gave birth to the 327/28 model with a gorgeous appearance and strong power. As of the end of production in 1940, the 327/28 was produced only 569 units.
