In 1959, Hongqi was officially finalized and put into production. The production model CA72 was a double-row seat type. Its shape is solemn and generous, with a total length of 5500 mm. Its head has a red flag emblem inlaid on the hood. There are 5 red flag emblems on both sides of the body. The radiator grille is fan-shaped. The taillights, fulling of national characteristics, are palace lantern shape, which is the same as Dongfeng sedan, the predecessor type of Hongqi. The interior is decorated with imported high-quality walnut wood, which is noble and elegant. Based on the model CA72, FAW has trial-produced two Hongqi convertibles as inspection cars.
