Mercedes-Benz 300B

Germany 1954

In March 1954, Daimler-Benz Motor Company upgraded Mercedes-Benz 300B on the basis of Mercedes-Benz 300 sedan. The two have little change in appearance. However, compared with Mercedes-Benz 300, the 300B, equipped with a pair of Solex carburetors, has a power increase of 10 horsepower and a compression ratio of 7.5, which can provide faster acceleration. In order to ensure safety, this car is equipped with a vacuum assisted braking system.

The Mercedes-Benz 220 and 300 are the most luxurious cars made in Germany after World War II. These two products opened the curtain on the glorious era of Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
