Ford M151

United Stated 1976

The Ford M151 was the successor to the M38 and M38A1 light off-road vehicles used in the Korean War. It is more spacious than the previous Jeep. The coil spring independent suspension structure has greatly improved the stability of this car. M151A2 has made many important improvements in the rear suspension, which greatly improves the safety during sharp turns. At that time, the car was equipped with a semi-hanging “A” type arm suspension, which could be comparable to the German car of the same type in the 1980s. The distinguishing feature of the M151A2 is the combined turn signal on the front fender. Compared with A1, the fenders of A2 are also wider and stronger.
