Cadillac Model M

United States 1906

The founder of Cadillac, Henry Leland, has always attached importance to the machining accuracy, manufacturing quality and interchangeability of parts in automobile manufacturing. He believes that it is the key to rapidly increasing production and expanding the scale of automobile development. In the early 20th century, the tolerance of parts produced by Cadillac has been able to reach 0.05mm. Such excellent technical standard has also laid a solid foundation for Cadillac in the later excellent performance. The first two-row, four-seater Model M, launched in 1906, is the model that follows standardized production and is manufactured with interchangeable parts.
